They submitted their annual work plan and budget early this fiscal year for the continuation of the project. These three local partners are: 1. NAWIA: the Nigeria Association of Women in Agriculture in Benue 2. CCDP: Cocin Community Development Program in Plateau 3. YMCA: Young (wo)Men's Christian Association in Narasawa Together, they have been reaching the past two years 42,702 farmers, 75% of whom are females. Together, they raised $1,800,000 to build start -ups, small (agro allied) businesses and downright farming activities. People are often caught up in conflict as they start and escalate rather rapidly without measures in place to mitigate, minimise impact or provide immediate relief We are unable to access funding to prepare for preventive, immediate, and interim response to this potential crisis within this time.
