Through a portfolio of viable and growing enterprises EDP supports the creation of new jobs and sustainable income generating opportunities, focused on empowering women as suppliers, employees and decision makers. Evidence from the programme is used to influence local governments and donors as well as international impact investors. Working in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Pakistan, GRAISEA 2 aims to be a catalyst, bringing about systemic change in how business operates through influencing at four levels: Value chains: Within the rice and shrimp sectors, GRAISEA 2 supports the development of more inclusive and responsible value chains working with producer groups and small, medium and large companies. Multi stakeholder initiatives: GRAISEA 2 collaborates with and influences sectoral multi -stakeholder initiatives (MSIs), as a means to reach more companies and to influence standards to be more supportive of women's economic empowerment and climate resilience. National policy: To create a more enabling environment for inclusive and responsible business, advocacy is supported on sector -based policy as well as on national frameworks for the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Regional policy: To support a regional enabling environment, the programme engages with a number of Association of South East Asian Nation (ASEAN) institutions and frameworks including the regional strategy for business and Corporate Social Reponsibility (CSR) and regional Micro Small and Medium -Sized Enterprise (MSME) policy. The project allows the Programme Management Unit (PMU) to ensure overall delivery of the programme and contract management towards the implementing partners.
