The Sahel region of Burkina Faso forms part of a tri -country pastoral education program with Mali and Niger to support the delivery of gender -equitable education to marginalised communities. Using the animatrice model, this project will increase opportunities for children to access quality education, particulary girls, while working in collaboration with decentralised education services to improve retention rates & outcomes. Building capacity of partners & other Civil Society groups & support to national advocacy partner CCEB are also important strategies to achieve this project's objectives.
